Ahhh it's the middle of summer, and that means it's Independence Day! We're talking hot dogs, casseroles, and fireworks galore. What to wear to your big July 4th celebration? Of course - only the most all-American store in the mall - Madewell! This store just screams Americana, from the plaids, to stackable mini bracelets (like the ones you used to thread with your friends when you were little), and white blue jeans to last into those hot summer nights.

Here are some of my favorite pieces from Madewell that you can wear to your type of July 4th party...

Last year I watched the fireworks from a boat in the middle of the Monongahela River, and it was awesome. My favorite way to spend the holiday is on the rivers, so look cute when you arrive to those boat docks in this pleated cami and blue jean shorts:

Spending some time camping over the long weekend? Nothing beats smothering yourself in bug spray and pigging out on s'mores (I'm serious), so celebrate the 4th with friends by a fire, and watch the fireworks over the tree line in this chambray top and khaki shorts:

Wear a long maxi-dress to your local hometown BBQ! Maxi dresses are great for moving around, playing croquet, and still being able to look super cute in the process! I love the print on this maxi dress:

Find a new skirt, and pair with a light, summery blouse! This skirt is unique and fun, while still being really appropriate for summer soirees. This outfit has a pair of flats, but you can dress it up for a city party with some cute wedges!

Have a WONDERFUL, and oh-so-stylish July 4th!
