Summer is the season I look forward to most each year, it's the time you can totally get away with rocking the brightest, most festive, most (usually) obnoxious prints, and still be on trends. Although living in South Florida I suppose it's basically summer year round - lucky us - I still feel like these summer months are the time to really 'shine'.
Here is a collection of a few of my favorite designer prints for summer 2013
1. Sunkissed | Lilly Pulitzer
Coming from the Queen B of colorful prints, it’s no surprise the Lilly Pulitzer takes the cake on 3 of my top picks. I adorable this citrus inspired print, perfectly paired with while skinnies, shorts, or crop pants.
2. Let's Cha Cha | Lilly Pulitzer
Just a look at the name and you’re ready to get your groove on. This coral shaped number is stunning! I would opt for an all over printed dress, which can be dressed up with heels/wedges or down with flats.
3. Gold Digger | Lilly Pulitzer
Not quiet sure where this loving print gets it’s name from, maybe Lily knows something we don’t. Nonetheless, you can’t go wrong with a tropical blue + green pairing for summer.
4. Sea Horse | J Crew
This navy + white seahorse print is seriously screaming add a while button down, Sperry’s, and rev up your boat. Nautical perfection to the tee.
5. Neon Azalea | J Crew
Summer is not complete without a dash of neon. The combination of neon + neutral offsets really well here. Perfect for a casual day of shopping.
6. Sea Life | Elie Tahari
A great print for the bold and daring, or perhaps those who don’t prefer light hues. I love the geometric-esk print Elie Tahari has curated this season.
7. White Print | Dolce & Gabana
This whimsical print may be full of butterflies and cute flowers, but the way Dolce & Gabana molds the fabric is fierce.
8. Orange Flora | ABS
I'm generally drawn more towards brighter prints, but this ABS watercolor inspired fabric really caught my eye. I love the dark blues and blacks mixed in with vibrant pop of orange.
