Well it's no wonder that a style that has the ability to make us ladies look like we have legs that go on for miles is now trending. Pointy-toed flats are the latest in footwear must-haves.

Just take a look at my picks below and I'm sure you'll see my point(y toed shoes).

For the trendy girl:

J. Crew $188.

Metallic accents are big this fall, and my heart literally skips a beat for these gems from J. Crew. They have gone straight to the top of my wishlist.

Pour la Victoire via Lord & Taylor $218

The cobalt, smoking flat, pointy-toe, and color blocking trends wrapped up into one cool-looking flat. Leave it to Pour la Victoire to make such a seemingly simple looking shoe, so all-encompassing chic.

Valentino via Nordstrom $645

Stud muffins. 'Nuff said. If money were no object, these would be on my feet...and never coming off.

DV by Dolce Vita via Macy's $79

I'm loving the shiny metallic cap-toe trend that has been on the rise. Though there are a fair amount of options out there, I love this pair for the combination of black and silver, the loafer shape, and the fact that the price is right (can't beat that).

Party Shoes:

Madonna via Macy's $90

Pair with your go-to LBD and you'll be instantly party-ready. From experience, I have found that gold glitter goes with just about anything, and I love that these particular flats have a cap-toe too (also currently trending).

Closet Staple:

Steve Madden via Lord & Taylor orig: $88, sale: $79.99

Leopard flats are a closet staple, if you do not already own a pair, put it on the list! Leopard print is considered a neutral in my book, and a basic pair of flats is a great way to introduce the print in your wardrobe.

Wear to Work:

Classiques Entier via Nordstrom $129.95

The best part about pointy-toed flats is that they look polished, yet they are comfortable, thus, they are workwear perfection. For more conservative work environments, keep the color neutral and you'll be golden!

Kate Spade via Nordstrom $225

When a pop of color is appropriate, Kate Spade will never steer you wrong, nor will the color red.

Regardless of personal style, pointy-toed flats are quickly becoming a must-have as a trend that I believe to have a great deal of staying power in the fashion world, as they are not only practical, but flattering as well. #GetShopping
